WHAT IS 'VRCHAT CONTENT CREATION

It's my 'collective' of projects made on the platform. For the last 5 years I have helped and volunteered to speak publicly, work on systems and improve UX for a lot of people across the board.

Noticeable groups include: VRValve & VRCKmart

what did I contribute?

DESIGN

Working on worlds in VRChat is always a pleasure in my eyes, the opportunities are endless.

THE APPROACH

I have worked as a game designer for Roleplaying groups, Worked on designing better UX for interfaces, and plenty more.

IN EXECUTION

While starting out as just merely a system developer, I slowly fell in love with game design. This platform has taught me that to make something fun, feedback matters most.

DEVELOPMENT

C Sharp is my bread and butter, UdonSharp is not.

THE APPROACH

Working with the restrictions of Udonsharp (V1.0) was quite cumbersome. Barely any form of OOP or even dynamic lists. Yet, I pushed through.

IN EXECUTION

Working together with people allover the world, teaching myself the ins and outs of the C# documentation and the Udonsharp compiler to make sure my efforts didn't go to waste were some of my most productive years. Always love to learn something new on the side.

ART

Remixing and Refining

THE APPROACH

When I started making content for VRChat, I did not understand what ambient occlusion was. Let alone unwrapping or modeling by reference. Still, Fixing minor issues in models or rigging models found on Sketchfab was a nice introductory exercise to the game-art flow.

IN EXECUTION

Using Photopea to adapt textures, create emission maps that Unity understood, or using Blender to convert models to be used, animated or driven in Unity was also a daily-task for me in the team. From anything to the avatars we used or the worlds we walked in. If they didn't look like what I had envisioned, I would keep hammering away to make it look presentable.

WHEN ALL SAID AND DONE...

For one of my more out-there pieces of work, all the memories made with the Team and the projects built for them always put a smile on my face. It never hurts to try out a niche concept sometimes.
